Dear Readers,

Greetings from Abu Dhabi!

The Middle East is undergoing a remarkable transformation at an incredible pace: the energy is almost palpable. Over the last few months, we’ve had conversations with investors, entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries, all striving to decode what’s driving this regional surge.

The data points are facing the same direction: upwards.

GCC economies are projected to grow by 3.5% in 2025, more than double the 1.5% growth rate in 2024, with the UAE expected to grow at 4.8% and Saudi Arabia at 3.8%. Confidence is also rising: 80% of UAE CEOs and 77% in Saudi Arabia expect growth in the year ahead, which is well above the global average of 57%.

This is why we created The Meridio.

When everything is changing and evolving at a rapid pace, we want to bring clarity and perspective. The Meridio is our answer: a new kind of insights platform that pairs sharp editorial thinking with on-the-ground perspectives from people shaping the change.

Through our curated features, conversations with the people driving change, and analysis from our network across the region, we’ll spotlight the ideas, trends, and opportunities reshaping luxury, culture, technology and business.

We are truly excited by our launch series that spotlights:

and many more articles covering luxury, culture, technology and capital.

Whether you’re a founder, investor, creative, or simply curious, The Meridio is your lens on a region in motion. Get in touch if you’d like to find out more at hello@themeridio.com, and don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter!

Welcome to the conversation that matters.
